Contact the uni – they may be willing to accept you with lower grades, or offer you a place on a different course. Whether you’re accepted or not, their decision will appear in your application with instructions on what to do next*. |

You want to go to a different university or college
If you have met all the conditions of your offer, use the ‘Decline my place’ button in your application. This will cancel the contract you have with your firm choice university, and allow you to add a new choice using Clearing.
If you haven’t met the offer conditions, you need to contact the university or college and ask them to reject you. This can take up to 24 hours to show in your application. You can then look for a place in Clearing.
You don’t want to go to university or college at all
